Hand-painted Christmas Ball with Candle and Flowers 8 cm Dellarte Ceramic. This glazed ceramic ball captures the essence of Christmas with a rich and luminous decoration. Two lit red candles, adorned with red and white flowers, are framed by holly branches with red berries and green leaves, creating a warm, traditional, and familiar scene. Hand-applied golden outlines enhance each element, adding brilliance and depth to the design. Each tree ornament goes through a meticulous artisanal process, starting with slip, a liquid clay mixture poured into specialized plaster molds. After drying, the desired shape is achieved, followed by the initial firing at 1000°C to solidify the piece. The design is executed with glossy and non-toxic enamels, completely lead-free, applied by skilled decorators. The ball is then immersed in clear glaze, creating a luminous glass-like effect that protects the decoration. The subsequent second firing at 920°C permanently sets the colors. To finalize, 10% ten karat gold details are applied, elevating the composition, and fixed with a final firing at 720°C.
