Dellarte Ceramic Blue Christmas ball with gold stars 8 cm hand-painted. This 8 cm Dellarte Ceramic Christmas tree ball embodies a perfect blend of art, tradition, and quality. Crafted by hand, each phase of its creation follows a meticulous artisanal process. It starts with slip, a liquid clay poured into special plaster molds, shaping the sphere precisely. After thorough drying, the ball undergoes an initial firing at 1000°C, turning into a solid ceramic biscuit ready for decoration. The design is hand-applied with non-toxic, eco-friendly glazes, enhancing the surface with a pattern depicting a stylized tree surrounded by golden stars. Subsequently, the ball is immersed in crystalline, a transparent glaze that enhances and deepens the colors, making them vibrant. This is followed by a second firing at 920°C to set the glaze and, finally, the application of 10% gold leaf, requiring a final firing at 720°C to complete and enhance the artwork. This product originates from the artisanal reality of Dellarte Ceramic, a family-run company founded by Paola Zaghi, creating unique pieces for over twenty years by combining artistic expertise, artisanal experience, and genuine passion for Italian tradition.
