Pier Giorgio Frassati: A Free and Joyful Young Man, book in ITALIAN. Although there are many biographies, collections of writings, letters and testimonies by and about Pier Giorgio Frassati, this volume goes further: bringing together multiple voices, it aims to reread and rediscover the extraordinary contemporary relevance of his figure. The book is addressed to parents, teachers, educators and anyone entrusted with accompanying younger people on their journey of growth, as well as to young people themselves, who may find in Pier Giorgio an 'influencer' of rare concreteness and humanity. From the substantial introduction by writer Marco Erba emerges an authentic, free and joyful young Christian who lives his faith to the full, witnessing it with humility, charity, love of freedom and respect for others, an inspiring example and an inclusive educational model for youth. Contributions by Alessandro Scurani, Roberto Falciola, Massimiliano Sabbadini and Laura Lavezzoli present his story, reflecting on the many aspects that shaped his life and made him one of the exemplary saints for young people whom Pope Francis will canonize during the Jubilee of 2025.
