Statue representing the apparition of Our Lady on a cloud in the sky of the city of Medjugorje.The Madonna wears a white veil and a white-gray robe, with some gold trimmings.On the base, there are three plates, the first shows the date of the first apparition of Our Lady in Medjugorje, June 24, 1981.On the second plate, there is engraved the word Kraljica Mira, which means Queen of Peace.The Virgin is also known as Our Lady Queen of Peace because the message she entrusts to her faithful is a message of Peace, a Peace that can only be reached through a path consisting of five steps, also called five stones, humble prayer, fasting in the days. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the reading of the Bible, confession once a month, the Eucharist every day.Finally, the word Medjugorje is engraved on the last plate.This Lady of Medjugorje statue measures 31.5x10 cm. It is made of local marble powder and hand painted in the city of Medjugorje by the craftsmen of a Bosnian company.The statue is treated with a special protective lacquer that makes it suitable for outdoor use.
