The Sacred Heart of Jesus statue is formed out of plaster by an Italian artisan and hand painted with an mother of pearl finish.
The statue portrays Jesus while he shows his bleeding hands, the Sacred Heart is surrounded by flames and a crown of thorns, symbolizing the wounds inflicted by sins, and surmounted by a cross, that of the Redemption.
