Saint Joseph the worker statue in Valgardena wood, patinated finish.
Saint Joseph is the patron saint of the Church and of the family, of the artisans, of the lumberjacks, of the carpenters as he himself was one and of the exiled travellers because of his Flight into Egypt.
Patinated finish of the statue: the finished sculpture is coated with a walnut colour patina.
This statue in maple wood is hand made by the Valgardena artisans, following the local artistic tradition.
