The statue created in Val Gardena portrays Pope Benedict XVI with a crosier that has a crucified Christ on the end. He wears a white tunic with chasuble on top with red trimmings and a miter. The product is made of maple wood except for the statue of 62 cm which is made of linden wood.

Every detail including the color of the vestments, the crucifix on a staff, and particularly the carving of the face of the Pope are so superbly done.
