The statue created in Val Gardena depicts The Virgin Mary wearing a white veil and a bluish tunic with some red and gold trimmings. Mary has an arm outstretched forward and a halo with gold stars. At the hem of the Virgin Mary there is a church, at the wooden base has a gold plate with the words"regina pacis" which in Latin means "queen of peace".
