Russian icon, Our Lady with dove 27x22cm.
Our Lady is represented while holding the baby with her left hand; Christ is facing the dove he is holding.
This type of icon is very antique (the first one dates back to 1393) and it complies with all the iconographic rules.
You can find the original in the museum of the Monastero della Trinità Divina of San Sergio.
Painted following the classic and severe rules of the Byzantine iconography, this icon is delivered in an elegant box with certificate of authenticity and warranty.
