Made of solid lime wood, it is hand painted, following the principles and techniques of the Byzantine-Russian school. Antiqued by a layer of gold leaf, the icon is a faithful copy of the fifteenth century original and depicts the Madonna holding Baby Jesus in a warm embrace, who touches her face with his right hand. Christ holds a scroll of paper representing the scroll of the Law in his left hand. Mother and son show a delicate and tender image, strengthened by the touching of their cheeks and by the gaze of the Child seeking that of the Mother.On the back, there is a ring that allows you to hang the product together with a guarantee certificate.
