Icon Our Lady of the Sign painted on glass 40x40 cm Romania.
This hand painted icon on glass measures 42x38 cm. This orthodox icon of "The Sign" was hand painted in Romania, in Romanian style, following the traditional iconographic technique. It is delivered with a warranty certificate. It is a unique and extremely rare piece. In the icon there is Mary with Jesus, surrounded by the symbols of the four evangelists. Both are painted in an unusual style which is typical of glass painting. However, the scene is represented in a realistic way.
