Icon Mother of God Vladimirskaya hand-painted 30x25 cm. This religious icon depicts the Mother of God Vladimirskaya with the Child Jesus, executed in tempera by Romanian iconographers following the Byzantine tradition and enhanced with gold leaf. The Virgin inclines her head toward the Child, wrapped in a red mantle with linear edging and decorative details; the Child presses his face to his mother, his arm around her neck, dressed in warm tones against a gold background with Greek inscriptions. Belonging to the Madonna of Tenderness tradition that developed in Constantinople and later spread to Russia, notably venerated in the city of Vladimir. Each Orthodox icon is supplied with a certificate of guarantee. The image is painted on a wooden panel with an antiqued finish (thickness 2.5 cm); nominal size 30x25 cm (actual panel dimensions 31x23x2.5 cm). It is delivered in a red velvet box with satin lining to protect it during transport and storage.
