This icon is hand-painted respecting the ancient picturesque and manufacturing techniques of the Byzantine iconography.
The religious icon has the dimensions of 22x18 cm and contains a certification of authenticity. Made in Romania with relief decorations that increase the preciousness of the orthodox icon. The icon is comes in a special velvety box with satin interior.

roseline T.9/6/2024Il s'agit d'une icone découpée (c'est à dire en relief). Ce n'était pas précisé dans la description à ce moment là. Je l'ai renvoyée car je n'aime pas trop le style découpage qui me fait plus penser à une sculpture qu'une icone (mais ce n'est que mon ressenti). Par ailleurs, le fond vert assombrit un peu l'ensemble bien que les couleurs rouge et or soient lumineuses. Les goûts et les couleurs sont dans la nature. J'en ai acheté une autre non découpée avec un fond or et un entourage rouge pour avoir une icone plus lumineuse. Il n'empêche que cette icone n'en n'est pas moins très jolie par son originalité qui n'est pas classique, et très bien peinte.
