Russian icon painted decoupage, Virgin Hodegetria 10x7 cm.
Beautiful religious icon in solid wood, produced with ancient Russian techniques using transverse beams, to avoid the curvature of the wood over time. The Hodegetria icon is hand painted using a mixed technique of painting and decoupage, the halos are painted with pure gold colors.
