Russian icon painted decoupage, Our Lady of Smolensk 10x7 cm.
Solid wood Hodegetria of Smolensk icon made using the traditional Russian technique with cross beams, which avoids curvature of the wood over time. The religious icon is 100% hand drawn and painted following the mixed method of painting and decoupage, the halos are colored with variations of pure gold.
