Russian icon painted decoupage of Mother of God Pantanassa 29x21 cm.
Religious icon in solid wood, it is produced with a technique used in ancient Russia that uses transverse beams, preventing the curvature of the wood over time. The orthodox icon is hand-painted with a mixed technique of painting and decoupage, the haloes are represented with precious pure gold colors.
