Russian icon Mother of God the Worthy, in painted decoupage 29x21 cm.
This solid wood icon was produced using an ancient Russian technique with transverse beams, which prevent the curvature of the wood over time. The hand-painted Russian icon of Mother of God is finished with a mixed technique of paint and decoupage, the halos are designed with colors similar to pure gold.
