The depiction of this icon immediately became an object of devotion for the Russian faithful. According to one tradition, the image was painted by the evangelist Luke. Icon made according to the old traditional Byzantine style on canvas and old wood. The image in the center of the icon is placed inside a second frame slightly carved into the wood. On the back, there is a certificate of a Byzantine icon, made in Greece.
