The drawing, first performed on paper, is shown on the wooden board.Subsequently, the wood is sculpted with the help of chisels and gouges.In the first phase of processing it is roughed out defining the figures, then with other tools worked patiently until the image is complete with all the details.All the young sculptors are graduates from the "Don Bosco" art school and received tools to be able to work by hand.The crucifix is made in Peru by local artisans who work within the Mato Grosso project.
