Marriage of the Virgin dm 6 cm Raphael essential Bottega Tifernate. This elegant round, 6 cm in diameter, belongs to the Linea Aurea by Bottega Tifernate, and depicts the central detail of the famous painting by Raphael called ''Marriage of the Virgin''. Each item in the Linea Aurea by Bottega Tifernate is an exclusive work of art, created and finished by hand by qualified painters with academic training.
The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created using the patented technique of pictography, created by master Stefano Lazzari. This method allows the creation of reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" technique with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:The work shows the exchange of rings between the spouses in the foreground. The composition highlights a more intense and full-bodied use of color, accentuating the representation of plasticity and creating a warm atmosphere. This effect is obtained through the use of a wider range of shades than that typical of the painters of the fifteenth century. This approach projects Raphael towards the adoption of the "Modern Manner". The tondo is supplied with a certificate of origin inside the package, adding value to the purchase. A hook on the back makes the work suitable as a decorative wall element.
