The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created using the patented technique of pictography, created by maestro Stefano Lazzari. This method allows the creation of reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the ''fresco'' one with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:The painting represents the Virgin Mary while she takes care of Baby Jesus with great affection. The dark background highlights the light of the gold-finished halo. The tondo comes with a certificate of origin inside the package, adding value to the purchase. A hook on the back together with a separate metal support make the work suitable as a decorative element for both walls and tables.
