The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created through the patented technique of pictography, created by maestro Stefano Lazzari. This method allows you to create reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" technique with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:In the painting, the river landscape is wide, with small trees and a bridge on the left side as a background. At the center of the scene, the Madonna, sitting on a rock, holds the Baby Jesus between her legs. Saint John, embraced by the Virgin, is positioned on the left. The two children, playing with a goldfinch that John holds and Jesus caresses, evoke symbolisms linked to the Passion of Christ. The painting has a golden frame and comes with a certificate of provenance inside the package, adding value to the purchase. A hook on the back makes the work suitable as a decorative wall element.Author of the original work: Raffaello Sanzio.Title of the original work: Madonna del Cardellino.Date and place of conservation of the original work: 1507, Florence, Uffizi Gallery.Technique: Fresco pictography on lime with gold leaf intervention.Product made in Umbria in Città di Castello (Perugia).
