The technique:
The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate is distinguished by high-quality artistic works created using the patented pictography technique devised by master Stefano Lazzari. This method produces reproductions that preserve the aesthetic qualities of an original painting. Years of dedicated research and study in painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully recreate the methods and recipes used by Renaissance masters on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is employed — a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is fresco pictography with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to fuse perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments are oxide-based, guaranteeing that the color intensity remains unchanged over time.
The work:
The painting shows the three angels seated around the table, a symbol of the Most Holy Trinity, arranged in a harmonious composition expressing balance, communion and spirituality. Vestments in tones of blue, green and purple stand out against a background enriched with gold leaf, while the architectural elements and the tree in the background recall the deep theological meaning of the icon. The reproduction is supplied with a certificate of provenance and is fitted with a hook on the back for wall display.
