The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created through the patented technique of pictography, created by maestro Stefano Lazzari. This method allows you to create reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" technique with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:The work takes place in a Renaissance portico with a cypress grove in the background. The architecture, characterized by sturdy columns and a vanishing point in the portico, emphasizes a simple minimal elegance. The main figures are rendered with a monumentality that contributes to an atmosphere of serene spirituality, whose only decorative note is given by the capitals, rendered with a strong accent on the light characterized by the gold leaf retouch. Each item comes with a certificate of origin. A metal support and a hook on the back make the work suitable both as a decorative element for the wall and for the table.
