Info and features
This Slabbinck banner was created for the Year of Saint Joseph, proclaimed by Pope Francis on December 8, 2020, the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, through the apostolic letter 'Patris corde' ('With a father's heart'). In this text, the Holy Father presents Saint Joseph as a special model for Catholics and a guide in difficult times, praising him as an example of creative courage, modesty, obedience, tenderness, and responsibility. Saint Joseph is also remembered as a silent and hidden figure, similar to many anonymous heroes who have stood out during the pandemic, making him even closer to the hearts of the faithful. The liturgical banner is crafted to honor this special occasion. Dimensions: 300x100 cm. It is finished with an open hem at the top, complete with a wooden pole and hanging cord; a built-in metal bar at the bottom ensures proper fabric tension. Crafted by the Slabbinck atelier, this banner reflects liturgical excellence based on high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, rooted in the long textile and liturgical tradition of the Belgian house.
