Info and features
This church banner is designed to accompany the solemnity of Pentecost, creating a warm, intense, and spiritually engaging atmosphere that invites prayer, communion, and praise. Pentecost is one of the highest moments of the liturgical year, celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles gathered in prayer with Mary in the upper room, fifty days after Easter. It marks the birth of the Church, where fearful men transform into courageous witnesses, driven by the fire of the Spirit to spread the Gospel in the world. On the banner, the Holy Spirit is symbolically represented, often in the form of a dove, light, or burning flames, recalling the 'tongues of fire' that rested on each person present. These images evoke the gifts of the Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord, illuminating and guiding the path of every believer. The new banner is digitally printed on fabric made of 100% artificial fibers. Dimensions: 300 x 100 cm. Finished at the top with an open hem, equipped with a wooden pole with two decorative knobs and hanging rope. The bottom features an incorporated metal bar that ensures perfect fabric tension during display. Crafted by the Slabbinck atelier, this banner reflects a liturgical excellence based on high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, rooted in the long textile and liturgical tradition of the Belgian house.
