Unlike the classic model, this tray features an elevated perimeter rim that better secures the cruets and helps keep them firmly in place during use. The sides are decorated with applied motifs evoking the symbols of wine and water: a grape cluster with two leaves set with red crystals on one side, and a water‑drop inspired motif embellished with white crystals and two leaves on the opposite side. The decorative elements are produced by lost‑wax micro‑casting and subsequently 18 kt gold‑plated. Made by the Umbrian workshop Pical Arte Creazioni, specialized in artisanal sacred art using lost‑wax micro‑casting; the edge bears the maker’s engraved signature as a guarantee of authenticity. The tray is supplied in an elegant case lined with red velvet. For cleaning, use a soft dry cloth; to remove fingerprints, a cloth slightly dampened with warm water may be used, drying immediately afterwards. Avoid aggressive detergents, alcohol, abrasive pastes and polishing agents that could damage the 18 kt gold plating and the hand‑set crystals.
