The base is enriched with chased copper decorations produced using the electroforming technique. The three scenes represented recall important moments in the life of Jesus; the Annunciation, the Nativity and the Crucifixion, symbolically narrating Christ’s coming and the offering of his life on the cross. The column is covered with interchangeable braided leather, creating a pleasant contrast with the metal surfaces. The chalice cup is made of gold-plated brass with a slightly matte finish, enhanced by fine polished lines. The ciborium mirrors the same style and workmanship and is completed by a silvered brass lid, embellished at its center with a golden brass cross.
