Produced in Italy by an artisanal foundry of high artistic quality. It depicts the scenes of the Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, Joseph's dream, the adoration of the shepherds and the Magi, the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem and Pope Saint John Paul II and Saint Francis of Assisi, pilgrims in Bethlehem.In the lower part it has two Latin writings, which, translated into Italian, mean: ''You are blessed, O Virgin Mary, splendid door of heaven, through you Christ shines as the light of the world'' and ''In memory of the visit of S.S. John Paul II in the year 2000''.
