The Cross of Hope Processional Staff by Tifernate Workshop. This crucifix is characterized by a double-sided design embodying symbols and values related to the theme of the 2025 Jubilee, under the motto 'Pilgrims of Hope'. Inspired by the layout of St. Peter’s Basilica and Square, the front depicts Christ without suffering, but as the one who serenely gave his life for humanity. At His feet lies the Mount Golgotha, symbolizing the crucifixion. On the back, a pilgrim is shown entering St. Peter's Square symbolizing the end of a journey towards hope and salvation, representing the path to redemption. Tifernate Workshop selected sculptor Fausto Schirato for modeling and foundry expert Marino Vigolo for casting. The lost-wax casting method was used to craft each piece individually. After preparation, molten brass is poured into a cylinder to form the cross. Each piece is meticulously finished, painted, burnished, and coated with protective lacquer for durability and to preserve its eternal significance. Supplied with a detachable staff measuring 155 cm, without a base. Each processional cross comes with a certificate of authenticity featuring a QR code for additional information. Made in Italy by Tifernate Workshop, this cross is ideal for processions.
