Im Rohzustand hat der kleinkörnige Weihrauch einen leichten Blütenduft. Beim Erhitzen entsteht dagegen ein starker würziger Duft. Der Weihrauch übertönt dabei den Blütenduft. Sparsam zu verwenden, da der Duft sehr durchdringend ist.
