Vintage barber shop miniature, for 12 cm nativity

This barbershop piece was high on my wishlist. My father-in-law, who was born in Colle Sannita, came to the US as a child. However, he trained to be a barber and owned his own barbershop as an adult. We added a weathered barberpole sign to the wall. Although the piece was not sufficiently padded for shipping from Italy (several pieces were broken off the base), a little glue and some touchup paint took care of it. It's definitely one of our treasured pieces.
