Nativity set made of 15 figurines that are 15 cm tall and made of clay.
All figurines are made of printed terracotta clay and subsequently hand-sponged.
This line of nativity sets is produced in Deruta, Italy, a small town in Umbria famous for its artistic creation in terracotta and for the high materials and working processes quality standards. The clay is hand-worked by local expert artisans.
The craftsmanship and small retouching make each item a unique piece.

TranslateSJ E.12/30/2022I was pleased about the size of the figures, but details are "muddy" at best. The resin figures that I ordered here are much nicer. I do have some pieces I purchased in Sorrento years ago, checked the artist, from Sicily. Those features are brilliant for details.
