Baby Jesus and Manger Nativity 20 cm Hand-Painted Statue by Dellarte Ceramics. This delicate rendition of Baby Jesus, nestled in a warm and embracing golden manger, conveys a sense of peace and sweetness. The serene little face, looking upwards with open arms, evokes the promise of acceptance and hope that Christmas brings. The light blue garment, adorned with touches of pure gold, adds a note of purity and preciousness to the scene, making this figurine a luminous presence in the nativity. Crafted in Faenza ceramic, each piece takes shape through skilled artisanal work. Starting from slip casting, liquid clay poured into plaster molds to obtain the form. Once dried and finished, the figurine undergoes an initial firing at 1000°C. It then proceeds to decoration with non-toxic glazes, a dip in transparent crystalline that provides brightness and brilliance, followed by a second firing at 920°C. The final touch of 10% pure gold leaf is set with a third firing at 720°C. The piece is signed by Dellarte Ceramics, an artistic company founded over twenty years ago by Paola Zaghi, an expert in Art History and Painting Design. Her passion for tradition and elegance is reflected in each creation, born from the desire to bring to life authentic, expressive, and meaningful objects. A central element of the nativity, capable of enriching it with delicacy and spirituality.
