The process begins with slip casting, liquid clay poured into plaster molds to achieve the desired shape. After meticulous finishing, the piece undergoes an initial firing at 1000°C, followed by hand decoration with non-toxic glazes. It is then immersed in a bath of transparent crystalline, enhancing the colors and providing a shiny finish, and fired again at 920°C. Finally, 10% pure gold leaf details are applied, followed by a third firing at 720°C. Paola Zaghi, the founder of the studio, brings her cultural and artistic background to the project, developed through years of teaching Art History and Painting Design. The family-run company has been creating ceramic artworks for over twenty years, blending tradition, expressiveness, and craftsmanship.
