Temple column with Nativity set 72x45x34 cm 30 cm.72x45x34 cm representation of a portion of a ruined temple showing in the foreground three 30 cm statues depicting Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. The structure behind the three subjects, evidently marked by time, is characterized by a fluted column with a particular Corinthian capital, under which appears one of the two half-busts of little angels present in the scene. It should also be noted the scarce presence of elements of vegetation which contributes to making the setting rather rustic. The three piece statues are made and hand painted by Neapolitan artisans. Each nativity figurine has terracotta ends and have been carefully dressed with colored fabric. There is also a fourth statue depicting a graceful sheep. Given the Italian craftsmanship of the entire representation, it is possible that there are slight differences compared to the images shown.
