Neapolitan nativity figurine depicting a woman with a child, suitable for a 8cm (3,15in) nativity scene.
The character is made in Neaples, capital of the nativity scene tradition; the figurine is completely handmade, made of real terracotta, dressed in cloth, finely shaped and treated. The limited availability of the fabrics and the handmade craftsmanship result in a product that is always slightly different and therefore unique; a really valuable figurine for nativity scenes.

TranslateRoberto F.11/24/2023Come osservato da un'altra acquirente, le statuine spedite hanno le stoffe degli abiti, trattate con una sostanza che rende il tessuto più rigido. I colori delle stoffe stesse variano da quelle proposte nel sito, perchè le statuine sono uniche e quindi tutte differenti. Ma a me piacciono molto. Le trovo adorabili.

TranslateMaria L.10/27/2021Sono certa che le statuine in foto abbiano le stoffe lasciate tal quale. In quelle inviate, tutte hanno la stoffa impregnata di qualcosa, suppongo colla, che la vetrifica. Così si perde la vivacità dei colori e l'effetto "terracotta+stoffa". Delusa.
