Neapolitan Nativity figurine, Woman on ass 8cm
Neapolitan nativity figurine depicting a woman on an ass, suitable for a 8cm (3,15in) nativity scene.
The character is made in Neaples, capital of the nativity scene tradition; the figurine is completely handmade, made of real terracotta, covered in molded cloth. The limited availability of the fabrics and the handmade craftsmanship result in a product that is always slightly different and therefore unique; a really valuable figurine for nativity scenes.
