Complete Neapolitan Nativity Scene 80x100x60 cm, complete with figures (actual heights vary from 6 to 10 cm). The setting represents a village nestled in mountains made of cork, arranged on three distinct levels connected by a staircase. The lowest level features a modeled cork ground evoking the arid terrain of the land where Jesus was born and is populated by numerous figures that convey the bustle of a typical village. The middle level includes an oven with an internal bulb that emits an intermittent red light to simulate dancing flames; from this level a working waterfall flows beside the staircase that links the two lower tiers. On the third and highest level there is a functioning mill with slowly turning sails.
The scene contains multiple dwellings and animated elements. The moving parts; mill, waterfall and oven, together with the lighting create a highly realistic and evocative effect, as if a small living world exists within the nativity. Five 220V sockets on the back power the animated features and lights. Powered with EU power plugs. Handcrafted by experienced nativity artisans, every detail is made and finished by hand, from the houses to the sewn costumes of the figures. As a handmade product, some details and fabrics may differ slightly from the photographs. Available in two variants, with or without figures, selectable from the dropdown menu.
