Butcher with shop animated Naples nativity 12 cm.
Butcher figure and tent shop with hanging sausages and banquets with various cuts of meat. The moving butcher is slaughtering a hanging pig.
This nativity statue was made according to the Neapolitan nativity tradition in terracotta and treated fabric. Adapted for 12 cm nativity scenes. The movement uses a 220V electric motor and metal levers, it is operated by simply connecting the plug into a socket.

Thomas W.10/1/2025Sehr schöne neapolitanische Krippenfigur, dieser Metzger. Vielleicht für Vegetarier nicht geeignet. Für eine orientalische Krippe nicht allzu geeignet. Nicht wegen des Schweines, damals gab es ganze Städte in Israel, die nicht jüdisch waren, aber von der Kopfbedeckung ist es natürlich eine neapolitanische Krippenfigur. Der bewegliche Metzger wird von mir auf einem kleinen Marktplatz fest installiert werden. TW
