White Wise Man in terracotta, 13cm by Angela Tripi.
The Wise Man kneels before the Saviour and offers his gift. He wears regal clothes, finely embroidered.
His eyes are fixed on Baby Jesus and despite the long journey his face is very serene and full of marvel.

Each character is completely hand-made, different and therefore unique. The figurines are extraordinarily detailed, charismatics and expressive.
Angela's statues have a complete body: this means that the character is created naked and then is dressed with clothes(unlike other statuettes where only hands, feet and head are completely sculpted).
You will be able to notice particulars like the tense muscles, tendons and expression wrinkles. While looking at these small pieces of art, you will realise you are looking at the history of a man or woman, "captured" in a particular moment of their life.
