The sowing must be finished and each worker must do everything possible to finish the job within the time allowed. The scorching sun slowly gives way to the moon and the darkness gradually descends. Among the stars in the sky one shines more than the others and attracts everyone's attention. Soon a long line will form along the road that leads to the home of the Holy Family. All the nativity statues are handmade, in terracotta and cloth, with skill and care by the Sicilian artist Angela Tripi.Normally the statues of the traditional nativity scene, for example the Neapolitan one, are made with a skeleton made with fabrics and with the end pieces in terracotta (the head, hands and feet).
In her works, the artist tells a story: each nativity scene figurine is depicted in a moment of their life, allowing us to understand the existence of a before and after moment.
Characteristic details often emerge as tense muscles of a slave or the expression lines of an elderly person.
