Every figure of Angela Tripi's scene is characterized by a strong attention to detail. The artist takes inspiration from the tradition of the ancient Arab world and, by re-elaborating the history and customs appropriately, comes to a personal interpretation of the characters of the time.
While the traditional terracotta statues of the nativity scene are constructed starting from a skeleton frame covered with clothes to which the extremities are applied (head and limbs), the artist Angela Tripi's statues have a completely formed body: they are modeled nude and subsequently dressed with fabrics and small jewels, details capable of giving the statue an amazing realistic look.
