Every figure of Angela Tripi's nativity is characterized by a strong attention to detail. The artist takes inspiration from the traditions of the ancient Arab world and, by re-elaborating the history and customs appropriately, comes to a personal interpretation of the characters of the time. While the terracotta statues of the traditional nativity scene are constructed starting from a skeleton structure and covered with clothes to which the extremities are applied (head and limbs), the artist Angela Tripi's statues have a completely formed body: they are moulded nude and subsequently dressed with fabrics and small jewels, which give the statue an amazing realism. The artist manages to give personality, charisma and charm to each creation. Details such as; wrinkles, grins, tendons, tense muscles emerge clearly.
