Fishes in resin measuring 3 cm, 6 figurines

I really like these fish. The sizing is just right for installations that have 5,6,7,8,9,10,11 &12 inch figures (obviously that when used with the larger scales they will look like smaller fish, but they will look as they belonged). I've stated before that I'm not a fan or resin but this did not disappoint me. Quite contrary. The coloring is beautiful just like real reef fish. The other thing I really liked is the fact that they actually "stand" because they're on their flaps, so they don't look as if they stood on a base but as if they were actually swimming in water. There are many "toy" fish options the USA, however, for the nativity, they tend to be too small or too big, or where one type of fish will work in size the rest of the package will not because they are not made to scale. Most of them are made without a "standing" option so they end up laying flat on one side. These are the first of this kind I'm able to find and I will buy some more due to their versatility. I want to highlight something that can make a difference to some installation creators. When using fountains or fish ponds or anything that requires real water, it is imperative that you place them close to your immediate access and that you have them plugged in on their own and not in the same electrical line as the rest of the figures. While real water is just amazing and its sound definitely adds an incredible punch, I've run into serious issues throughout the years of doing this. You need to understand that water evaporates. Much more so if it's just a little bit to fill the display. The motors are very sensitive and they will burn if you let them run on empty. If this were to happen you need to change the motor (not easy without breaking pieces of the actual display) if you can, if not; you can use the piece but without the animation. To counter all of this, and because sometimes I do need the water piece to go in an unaccessible place, I simply don't put water in it and not connected at all. This is where these types of fish come in very handy. I just place them in the pond with a brushed painted cellophane covering the entire pond and acting as the water of the pond/fountain. The effect is wonderful. To replicate the sound of water running I integrate music sounding as water which is available for free in most all meditation/sleep YouTube videos. This works phenomenally and you can extend your pond/fountains life for years to come. To those of you that have issues reading long reviews; I'm hopeful I can help buyers in making a decision as it relates not only to the item but to the usage of it. For me, the Nativity is my PASSION. I also believe it's a "fading art form" that brings people together and bonds families closer. If the ones that do this with the same commitment as I don't share their findings then more is lost than saved. It is a pitty that the reviews' format in Holyart does not accept pictures because sometimes a picture's worth 1000 words and the user is better able to visualize an explanation and in turn imagine their own creation. Wunderschöne große bunte Fische. Ein wahrer Blickfang in einem See oder am Meer. Allerdings sollten die Figuren nicht zu klein sein, mindestens 12 cm. Dann gut kombinierbar mit fahrenden Booten.
