The painted image depicts the Madonna of the White Lily with the Baby Jesus in her arms, who holds the stem of the lily in her left hand while the fingers of her right hand are in a blessing position. The image was painted with the gold leaf technique which highlights many details such as the halos and decorations around the egg and on the pedestal.
