This wooden Russian icon was created using traditional techniques, which uses transverse rafters, to hinder the curvature of the wood over time. The religious "Healer" icon is hand-drawn with a mixed method of painting and decoupage. The halos are painted with fine colors tending to pure gold.

Ingeborg F.6/10/2023Ist ordentlich gemacht auf dickem Holz aufgebracht. Sieht auf dem Foto aber besser aus. Die auf alt gemachten Sprünge im Bild sind in der Realität viel kräftiger und störend, finde ich jedenfalls.
