Russian icon 12 Great Feasts of the liturgical year XIX century restored 53x45cm.Ancient Russian icon dating back to the early nineteenth century restored in the 21st century in full respect of the colors, customs and traditions of the Central Russian school.Made on a wooden board with levkas on which a gold leaf has been applied and hand painted with the egg tempera technique.We can divide the content of the icon into 3 parts:-the first, consisting of the central part, representing the Resurrection of Christ (Easter),-the second, in the 4 corners, depicting the 4 evangelists,- the third, consisting of the 12 feasts of the liturgical year.The 12 parties are:the Nativity of Mary, the Presentation in the temple of Mary, the Annunciation, the Birth of Jesus, the presentation in the temple of Jesus, Baptism, the entry into Jerusalem, the Transfiguration, the Ascension, the Trinity, the Exaltation of the Cross and the Dormition of Mary.Beautiful Russian icon of the Twelve Feasts delivered with a certificate of originality.Measurements: 53 cm x 45 cm.
