The religious icon was made on an ancient panel with tempera, while the painting was restored in the 21st century.The image depicts ''Christ Pantocrator'', it is considered important and with maximum glory and power of Christ. Jesus is represented in a frontal position and with a hieratic expression, while with his left hand he holds the Gospel open towards the faithful and with his right hand he blesses according to the Orthodox/Byzantine rite, with all the typical traits of God made Man. Around him is depicted a series of tondos containing the image of various saints.
