A representation of the Virgin Odighitria, a hand-painted icon in Greece according to the ancient Byzantine technique. Odighitria means the one who shows the way and the way is Jesus. This is one of the most ancient iconographic subjects. The legend says that the icon originally was in Jerusalem and then it was brought to Russia in the XII century. This icon comes with the certificate of authenticity in an elegant blue box with internal satin covering.
